General Description
RIGHT CHOICE Camps & Catering is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate to work in our warehouse located in South East Edmonton. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving of products, materials and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ship / Receive groceries, materials and equipment
- Operate loading equipment such as pallet jack and forklifts
- Ensure warehouse freezers, coolers and shelves are clean and orderly
- Maintains parking area, sidewalks daily, including snow removal, sanding, sweeping, and waste removal.
- Prepares facility start up kits, ensuring that all required product and equipment is complete, documented and packaged.
- Follow all company, job safety protocols and OH&S legislation.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of warehousing work experience, preferably in a camp/catering environment
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a “clean” abstract
- Ability to work physically and regularly lift up to 50 lb.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers
- Strong focus on safety and quality of work
- Alberta Food Safe and Hygiene, Forklift Safety Operation, First Aid & WHMIS certification
